Today we were doing a hour of gaming (click this link then click the first of the two links it takes you to). Its an site with heaps of different coding games. We could choose what we did so I tried a couple before I settled on a app on how to make a game. My game included a character trying to catch some bags of spicy beefers. The more bags you get the more points you get. These are a few screenshots of my game.

pixton
Hey guys today we had to join a few toolkits and one of the ones I joined was one about how to use pixton. pixton is an app you can use to make comics. the people running it told us how to sign in and use the app using a slideshow they made. the sound was a little glitchy but understandable. its an easy to use app for all your writing needs here is the slideshow.

Tapa Cloth
Today we have been working on something called tapa cloth. it is a Tongan blanket thingy made from native plants. we read a story about an art teacher that knew the art was fading in NZ and wanted to bring it back so she went to Tonga to learn how to make it and then came back to NZ to make it here. One of the activities we did was pretending we were writing a email to a friend about how to make tapa cloth. this is my email.

spectacular Scale
Today we are learning about scale. We had to measure and draw our classroom. the key was 1m = 2.5cm and 20cm = 0.5cm. some people found it hard but I didn't (not to brag of course) This is what I did.
I learned how to use scale and read it. I liked doing it cause it was fun. I hope you can see it.
Can you scale a room?
what did you think?
