CAMP!

hello during the past two week we have had to write three different things of what we did at camp. WE wrote what we saw heard smelt tasted and felt and added description I hope you enjoy.

A trio of camp tales

Aero Jump

As I rise into the air I can see people behind the gate staring at me and when I look down the trampoline rises up to meet me. Suddenly the huge poles above me catapult me into the atmosphere. I wonder how I don’t fly into space. The feel of the harness holding me in place digs into my stomach. I feel Like I'm flying. Air zooms into my nose as I fly into the sky and fall back down with terrific speed.

The sound of people chatting meets my ears as they wait for their turn but the aero jump is silent. A feel of excitement hits me like a bullet when I complete my back-flip. But it turns to sadness when my ride is finished.

Zipline

At first I'm confident, but it quickly vanishes when I look down. The ground is miles beneath me and everyone is as small as smallish birds. The grass is so tiny I can’t find a stalk. I look up as I try to push down the fear, the forest trees loom ahead of me far out of my reach. People below me chant sacrifice in time with each other. I take a deep breath, trust the gear, and step off the platform. Everything becomes a blur as the smell of pine trees zoom into my nose, I hear a soft zzzzzz sound as the pulley carries me to the end though the wind refuses to stop trying to push me back. The harness holds me in place, even though it's tight I don’t mind. I remember air dancing on my tongue as I reach the end.

Archery

The target ahead of me taunts me as I hold the bow in my hand. I reach for an arrow and I feel a sense of determination come over me. People behind me talk as I concentrate. I let go and watch as the arrow zooms through the air and hits the blue circle on the target. A cheer arises as I stand with pride, a smile fixed on my face

I really enjoyed making these stories and I hope you enjoyed reading them I did. please comment which one is your favorite.
