How to grow your own Sugar crystals!!!
Equipment
Base = paper plate, glass, plastic, fabric, sandpaper or blotting paper.
Eyedropper or teaspoon
Kettle
A cup
A spoon
Cool, dark place to store your cup of liquid
Ingredients
Sugar
Very hot water
Food colouring (optional)
Steps
(make sure you have a parent's help for the next steps). Boil water with your kettle.
Put in the sugar
Dissolve as many grains as possible.
Add food coloring to color it. (Optional)
Pour a little of the liquid on to your base.
Store the base in a warm area and the rest of the water in a cool dry area
Stir the liquid every day and put a little more on the base with the eyedropper
Continue this process until your crystal has grown (which will take about three weeks).
